An Anne-Girl’s Garden
The sweetness of the places you may tend to and care for….
I discovered something dreadful, my dears. I wrote something up, and discovered I had no place at all to put it….
So of course I had to make one.
It may not really be all the time like Anne’s garden, nor yet always Mrs. Lynde’s. The occasional bed may be edged with cow shells, as if Captain Jim had come by and done them. There may be glimpses of Hester Gray’s garden, and Miss Lavender’s echoes may come around, if we coax very sweetly with the old horn that hangs on a nail in the kitchen….
Gardens can be so many things, and half the beauty of them is discovering the little intricacies and all the sweetness of a place you can be friends with.
You can be yourself in a garden.
