 Ancient Novels

While I'm not much of an Ancient history person, I do occasionally dabble in the Roman Empire. It does fascinate me at times... and I am a huge fan of Ben-Hur (Both the book and the 1959 film)

Following are my books set in these time periods

(Page is work in progress. Novels will be up and running soon. Check back within a few days... subscribe to this blog in order to get updates.)

The Lion Killer

Summary:

Nathan, son of Jesse, lives in first century Jerusalem during the time of the Roman occupation. When the girl he loves is falsely accused and sentenced to a terrible fate, he swears to fight for her, to do anything he can to get her back, to wipe out the Romans single-handedly if he must. But he is soon to learn that one cannot take on the Roman empire... and win.

Based loosely on the 1959 film Ben-Hur. Can easily be read fandom-blind (meaning even if you've never heard of Ben-Hur) In fanfiction ratings, rated T for violence.

Coming Soon: From Your Valentine

Set in 270 A.D., during the height of the Roman Empire. Since a tragic accident left her blind at the age of six, Julia has been considered worthless. For of what use is a blind woman to any man? Marriage is out of the question... and so she must spend the rest of her life working in the prison her father has charge of. But maybe there is hope for her yet...
